Indian Rummy, also known as Paplu, is a popular card game in India that is enjoyed by both young and old, and can be played with two to six players. The objective of the game is to arrange all the cards in your hand into sequences and sets, and then discard the remaining cards.

The game is played with two decks of cards and jokers, with each deck having 52 cards, including the jokers. Each player is dealt 13 cards at the start of the game and the remaining cards are placed in a closed deck.

The game starts with the player sitting to the left of the dealer. The player can choose to take the card from the closed deck or the open deck. If they choose to take a card from the open deck, they must take the top card and use it to form a sequence or a set. However, if they choose to take a card from the closed deck, they cannot use it immediately and must wait for their next turn.

The objective is to form two sets of sequences and one set of at least three cards by either picking up cards from the closed or open deck, or by discarding unwanted cards. A set of sequences consists of three or more cards of the same suit in numerical order, such as 2, 3, 4 of diamonds, and 5, 6, 7 of hearts. A set of three or four cards of the same rank, but different suits, is known as a set. Jokers can be used as a wild card to substitute any missing card in a sequence or set.
